“Christmas entertainment and fun for the kids, for a worthy cause”
Lake Pontchartrain Harbor Marina will host “Christmas at the Marina“ on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm as a fundraiser for the Samaritan Center in Mandeville, LA.
This event will feature Santa arriving by boat at 4:00 pm and will offer keepsake pictures taken with him throughout the evening. Santa’s elves will help guests make their very own picture frames, join in the reindeer games, and read a book with Mrs. Claus. As part of the Christmas festivities, there will be a Christmas tree lighting at dusk.
DJ “Woody” Woods will entertain with a light show, music, and more. Cajun Chef’s Boudreaux and Thibodeaux will be cooking and serving their famous jambalaya. Treats, delights, and goodies by GG and Company will abound.
Vendors will be on site to help with your Christmas Shopping. Ladies – your husbands called and said “it’s ok to shop.”
This event is courtesy of the Community Outreach Committee of the Lake Pontchartrain Harbor Marina. Proceeds will go to benefit the wonderful work of the Samaritan Center.
Please remember those less fortunate and help make their Christmas a little better by supporting this event. You can also help by bringing donations, non perishable food items, and gifts for children for the Center to distribute.
