DRINK OF THE WEEK-PISCO COOLER

The Carousel Bar and Lounge is a historic institution of New Orleans as much as The Historic New Orleans Collection, which is why they make the perfect combo for the Concerts in the Courtyard series. Marvin Allen created this refreshing cocktail that’s grand any time of the year, but ideal for the warmer months, for the Concert in the Courtyard series. Patrons can taste Allen’s specialty drink while enjoying music by the very talented Anais St. John. For those that may not be able to make it out to this hostoric event, Allen and the folks at the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone shared this thirst quenching recipe.

PISCO COOLER
1 1/4 oz. Pisco
2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
2 oz. Ginger Ale
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Fill a beer glass with ice. Pour in Pisco, Lime Juice, Ginger Ale, Simple Syrup and roll to mix. Garnish with a line wedge.
