WVUE FOX8 and Planetguide.com have partnered to provide a wonderful new resource for Louisiana called NewOrleansLocal.com. New Orleans is a city filled with so many things to do from festivals to food to music; however, there is no single resource to go to find out about things going on in the city everyday. Our website is designed to be simple, complete, and all local.
NewOrleansLocal.com is composed of three elements: Calendar of Events, Articles, and Email Newsletters. The calendar is organized by date into different categories such as Museums, Jazz Music, and Festivals. Any business, organization, or individual may submit an event for free (approval required before publishing). Under each event category, detailed articles will describe a fun event such as a festival or a new restaurant opening. Each week, a category-tailored email blast will go out to subscribers listing all of the events that are going on throughout the week in the city. The combination of these three elements will provide a resource that all New Orleanians can enjoy and utilize.
NewOrleansLocal.com is looking for an outside sales people to sell advertisements for NewOrleansLocal.com. We prefer and experienced sales persons, but we will train the right candidate. Enthusiastic, outgoing, with good closing ability.
