Mardi Gras Day 2012 in the Marigny and Bywater

We started off at 7:30am, seeking out some of the best and most creative costumes that New Orleans has to offer. The reason we start so early is that the group costumes are always best viewd before the 3rd beer or 5th Jello shot is consumed. It is a safe bet that the Tin Man or Dorothy will pass out  shortly after arriving in the Quarter, or the Wicked Witch will hookup with Jesus of Natchitoches, leaving the other members of Oz in disarray.
