Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, located at 1751 Gentilly Blvd., continues its “Tastings at the Track” wine tasting series on Thursday, June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. with “A Taste of South America: The Best of Argentina and Chile”. Held in partnership with Dorignac’s Food Center, this reception-style tasting will feature 30 fine reds and whites from South America’s top producers. Cost to attend is $25 per person. Tickets are available at Dorignac’s (710 Veterans Blvd in Metairie) and, if not sold out, will be sold at the door.

Next month’s tasting will be held on July 19 with the theme of “Super Sparklers: Top-Notch Sparkling Wines from the U.S., Italy and Spain. It will also feature 30 wines and cost to attend is $25 per person.
