Acclaimed female driven theatre company THE FIRE WEEDS returns with Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Set at a New England college in 1962, George and Martha invite a younger couple over for a nightcap following an academic party. What begins as a seemingly polite yet drunken affair quickly turns into a night of revelry, debauchery and despair, exposing the vulnerability of all four characters.

Female driven, immersive and bold, THE FIRE WEEDS stages one of the masterpieces of American theater in a production for our times. Unflinching and raw in its depiction of human relationships, the play changed America when it premiered on Broadway in 1962. As powerful and relevant then as it is now, the play explores marriage and women in a time of societal upheaval and change.
Do not miss this opportunity to witness this bold, intimate staging of one of the greatest plays of all time in one of America’s greatest cities.

The production features Lin Gathright, Carl Palmer, James M. Reilly and Jaclyn Bethany

Directed by Jaclyn Bethany
