About The Mortuary
Fear Never Felt So Good…The Mortuary Haunted Mansion Opens For Its 13th Year. Dare to visit a Haunted House…in a Real Haunted House…Located at the foot of Canal Street in historic New Orleans, The Mortuary Haunted Mansion is in a class of fear all by itself. The attraction is set within the walls of a three story mansion built in 1872. It operated as a real funeral home for almost 100 years. “It’s not your typical haunted attraction,” commented Jeff Borne, Owner. Paranormal Investigators from around the world have verified that the mansion is actually haunted. When you add that to the high end special effects, animatronics, theatrical sets and professional actors, our visitors get a world-class, haunted thrill ride ranked as one of the best in the country.
