Art & Soul Gala

Mark your calendars and shine your dancing shoes: the ART&SOUL Gala is on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at NOCCA, hosted by the Meraux Foundation and the NOCCA Foundation!
- Patron Party: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Gala: 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Alumni After-Party: 10:00pm – 12:00am
This year’s theme is “Tomorrow Starts Here“, a nod to all the work that NOCCA and the Foundation are doing to plan for NOCCA’s next 50 years. Join us, and you’ll dance to music from NOCCA students and alumni, like New Breed Brass Band (founded by alum Trombone Shorty), Sweet Crude, and the NOCCA All-Star Legends! You’ll enjoy fantastic food from NOCCA’s young chefs and drinks provided by SAZERAC/Goldring Family Foundation! And you’ll bid on artwork, vacations, and so much more in the ART&SOUL silent auction. Please reply by March 23 to be included on the official invitation.
Proceeds from ART&SOUL directly fund programs for NOCCA’s students and dedicated teachers. Thanks to supporters like you, these life-changing initiatives have helped make NOCCA the gold standard of arts education and helped young artists follow in the footsteps of NOCCA alumni like Jon Batiste, Harry Connick Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Trombone Shorty, and Wendell Pierce.
