Caroling In Jackson Square

It’s a beloved New Orleans Holiday Tradition: Caroling in Jackson Square. This year the event takes place on Sunday, December 22nd. Gates will open at 6:30 pm and caroling begins around 7:00 pm. This tradition started back in 1946 and has been growing ever since. It is a fun experience for the entire family. The event attracts thousands of people every year. Caroling In Jackson Square is free and everybody is invited to come by and join in.

What You Need To Know About Caroling In Jackson Square

Carolers, locals and visitors alike, will gather in Jackson Square to sing holiday songs together. Hundreds of candles held by singers will illuminate the square. Candles and song sheets will be provided. Make sure to come early since this is a very popular event. Finding parking can get a little difficult. Also due to the popularity of Caroling In Jackson Square sometimes the event exceeds the capacity of the square.
