Crescent City Fall Classic
Held on Saturday November 3rd, the Crescent City Fall Classic race has multiple audiences! Serious runners can use this event as a qualifier to earn a prime starting position in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k (this is the ONLY opportunity to run a qualifying time at the 5k distance) and the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Fall Classic 5k encourages participation by area students.

What You Need To Know
The race, which takes place at City Park, starts at 8:30 a.m.. To ensure a clean start, there will be two staggered start times: (1) for runners attempting qualification and (2) for all other particpants.
Ranging from elementary school through college, young runners from throughout the region come for the camaraderie and competition. With age-specific prizes for everyone starting at age seven, and cash grants for those schools with the greatest number of participants, this is always a spirited event and a great introduction to running events for young runners.

NO REFUNDS OR DEFERRALS FOR ANY REASON
The 5 Km (3.1 Mile) course starts on Golf Dr. and ends on the Practice Track, in New Orleans City Park. Runners & Walkers of all ability invited!
Registration tents will be located inside the Practice Track on Race Day. Participants can pick up bib numbers and race t-shirts inside the track beginning at 7:00am.
The Crescent City Fall Classic 5k serves as the ONLY 5k qualifier for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k. In order to qualify for a seeded position in the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k, participants must run the Fall Classic in under 22:00 mins (more info here)
The Crescent City Fall Classic 5k have 2 start times:
8:30am for participants running to qualify for the CCC10K.
8:45am for all other particiapnts.
Participants, friends and families are welcome to attend the post-race party and awards ceremony following the race, located inside the Practice Track. Age specific awards and cash grants for the schools/non-profit organizations with the greatest number of participants will be awarded at 10:00am. Enjoy Michelob Ultra beer, Kentwood Springs water, Community Coffee, Blue Runner Foods red beans and rice, fresh fruit from Rouses & live music until 11:30am!
