16th Patois New Orleans International Human Rights Film Festival
Running from March 25-29, #Patois2020 will showcase 10 feature-length and 5 short documentary and narrative films from a plethora of backgrounds: Africa, indigenous people of the Americas, the Caribbean and Latin America, the Arab & Muslim world and their diasporas, etc.
What To Expect
Film screenings will be held at The Broad Theater (636 N Broad St) with side events at Neighborhood Story Project. Tickets are $10, or a donation; no one will be turned away for lack of funds. The full lineup will be announced and tickets will go on sale on March 9th at patoisfilmfest.org
Founded by local artists and activists in 2004, Patois is a festival with a mission to create accessible spaces at the intersection of art and social justice, and provide a forum for artistic expression of these themes.
