50th Annual Gem and Mineral Show

The Gem & Mineral Society of Louisiana is hosting its 50th Annual Gem and Mineral Show. Featuring vendors from across the southern United States showing off their hand made jewelry, dinosaurs fossils and mineral specimens from around the world. Don’t miss the biggest mineral show in the state of Louisiana. Throughout Friday’s “School of Hard Rock,” presentations on fluorescent minerals, dinosaur fossils, geode formation, geode cracking and Louisiana’s coastal environment will be featured all free for educational field trips and homeschoolers. Continuous demonstrations on hand crafted jewelry, cabochon polishing and silversmithing are must sees for those interested in the lapidary arts. Don’t miss the biggest show in the state!
