What You Need To Know
Set in Downtown Covington’s riverside Bogue Falaya Park at the peak of blueberry season, Bluesberry
Festival is a perfect escape for music and art aficionados who want to “experience” the arts amidst Southeast
Louisiana’s natural landscape. In addition to a diverse music lineup, the festival features a free interactive art
experience where patrons can paint their own work of art guided by an instructor; 35+ talented artists from
across the region who will be selling their original work; and a children’s village where children can create their
own works of art.
Returning to the festival this year is the Gulf Coast Bank Rejuvenation Station, where patrons can cool down from the summer heat and grab a cold drink with a great view of the stage; and the Bluesberry Beer Garden, where festival goers can sip on a variety of locally crafted brews from Abita Brewery, including Abita Blueberry Beer, which is not currently available to the public. Patrons will also enjoy some of the region’s favorite mobile eateries at the festival’s food truck alley. Each will serve up their signature dishes, but also put a creative blueberry spin on some of their favorites. Blueberries from local farms will be available for purchase on site as well.
