Death by Chocolate – Not Breast Cancer is chocolate tasting with champagne while participating in a live competition to choose the best chocolate creations. The event is produced by Krewe de Pink, a 501c3 nonprofit, dedicated to raising awareness and support for Tulane Cancer Center’s Breast Cancer Research Fund, in partnership with Schoen and Delgado. The event will honor the 2021 Six Sweet Survivors.

Guests taste a dozen chocolate creations, both sweet and savory, along with complimentary champagne, sparkling cider, and chocolate coffee courtesy of Community Coffee while they listen to music by Delgado’s Music Department. Delgado’s Culinary and Pastry Arts Program students will prepare the tasty delights. Chocolate used by students, known for its finest in quality, is donated by Callebaut. Guests will judge the chocolate inspired creations and prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each category. As a thank you, guests will receive a goody bag of chocolates compliments of Delgado Community College and Callebaut.

The event will be held at the iconic Schoen Mansion on the world-famous Canal Street.
