FestiGals Women’s Weekend Experience

The 2018 FestiGals Weekend will bring women of all ages and backgrounds together for an enjoyable experience that will feature authentic New Orleans activities, designed for women, by women. This is a special time here in New Orleans as we commemorate the Tricentennial of our city’s founding. Come make history with us as we celebrate YOU!!!

We have lots of a la carte events planned for this year’s celebration of women! View the full schedule at FestiGals.org.

Step Up Second-Line Parade

There are many events planed for the weekend. Join us in the city’s largest women’s second-line parade to STEP UP to stop domestic violence. We’ve assembled dozens of iconic Krewes and bands to lead the parade through the Vieux Carré to shine a light on domestic violence in the most New Orleans way possible—with our blinking boas, bras, beads and neon attire. You don’t need to be a woman to attend. You just need to be ready to celebrate all the wonderful divas, ladies, and gals of the world.

Schedule:
7PM-8PM: Pre-Party at The Mardi Gras Museum of Costumes and Culture
8 PM: Step Up Second-Line Parade through the French Quarter
9PM-11PM: After-Glow Party at Harrah’s New Orleans Casino Theater
