Fifth Annual NOLA Bluedoo
The Fifth Annual NOLA Bluedoo is a festival-like celebration of prostate cancer survivorship – offering New Orleans-style food, drink, music, costuming, and a competitive two-mile walk/run, held in conjunction with the New Orleans Track Club. It’s also a fundraiser – the ONLY prostate cancer event of its kind in our area. You can join the fight! On Saturday, September 15, 2018, Tulane Cancer Center will host the Fifth Annual NOLA Bluedoo Party/Walk/Run to benefit the prostate cancer research fund at Tulane Cancer Center. Funds raised via sponsorships, party passes and a silent auction benefit Tulane Cancer Center’s Prostate Cancer Research Program. The two-mile walk/run takes participants on a tour across Tulane’s Uptown campus. Guests will also enjoy a Survivor’s Tent, a Kids’ Tent, awards, and MORE!
One in every seven of our fathers, husbands, brothers or sons will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. One in 39 will die of this disease. Prostate cancer is a formidable opponent, but through research and the tireless dedication of world-renowned experts like Tulane Cancer Center’s Oliver Sartor, M.D., we are battling back, and we are making progress.
