HOLIDAZE – A WEEK OF FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS

There’s no place like NOLA for the holidays and W New Orleans – French
Quarter is making this time of year even merrier with a week’s worth of festivities, including a Daily Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5pm with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. This year’s schedule includes: Mon 12/12 – Holiday Beignet Decorating in the Apothecary Room of 3rd Block Depot. Enjoy decorating your own hot, fresh, housemade Beignets featuring three flavored sugars and 3 different dipping sauces. $9 per person. 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tues 12/13 – Holiday Drag & Burlesque Trivia brought you by FoxyRose Productions. Enjoy three fun-filled rounds of Holiday Movie Trivia, plus burlesque and drag performances from New Orleans’ own Fox Monroe, Ramona Rose and drag queen extraordinaire Laveau Contraire. Meet and greet photo opportunities will be available after the show, so make sure to stick around! 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Reservations can be made here. Wed 12/14 – Reveillon Dinner featuring renowned New Orleans storyteller Kyle Crosby. Enjoy a classic New Orleans holiday meal as Kyle reads Cajun Christmas stories and tells other holiday tales from New Orleans history. 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. ; Reservations can be here. Thurs 12/15 – 3rd Block Depot’s Naughty and Nice Burlesque brought to you by FoxyRose Productions. Enjoy a sinfully sexy evening of holiday-themed burlesque performances for some of the best performers in the Big Easy including Simone del Mar, La Reina and Poseidon Davenport. Enjoy Chef Nick Ocheltree’s unique style of Cajun Creole cuisine as you decide who’s on the nice list and who’s a little bit naughty. Then stick around after the show for meet and greet opportunities with the performers 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. ; Reservations can be made here. Fri 12/16 – TGIF with local musical favorites Dr Sick at 3rd Block Depot. Enjoy tasty holiday cocktails, get on your dancing shoes and start the week off on the right foot! 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sat 12/17 and Sun 12/18 – Holiday Burlesque Brunch with Bella Blue at 3rd Block Depot.
