Every day is family-friendly SaturDay and SunDay; on Saturday night, after the sun goes down some of the bands plug in for a more modern experience.

The Louisiana Renaissance Village of Albright will be transported through space and time to the Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean.   During the day on both Saturday and Sunday the pirate shows, games, and merriment are great for families and other types of crews.  On Saturdays, after sundown (7:30 p.m.) we will have a separate event, Pirate Nights, which is vastly different from the family-friendly festivities of the daytime.  Pirate Nights are concerts for those old enough to drink.

CAMPING: We will offer the same rustic public camping (a tent/RV slip) as we do at the RenFest. Pirate crews and other groups will also have an option to reserve Ship/Group camping areas (please reserve in advance).

Pirates of the Pontchartrain (pirate festival) will exceed CDC expectations as we did with the Louisiana RenFest. We anticipate selling admission and camping passes in March, once the state of Louisiana releases its COVID-related requirements.

People love the pirate-themed weekend at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. We like it when people are happy, it’s kinda our thing.

People need a break from the drudgery of real life.  We are really good at getting people to have fun.

The Pirates of the Pontchartrain is how we are stepping up to bring relief, to bring fun back, and this time we are adding a Saturday night concert for the Adults.

DAYTIME FAMILY FRIENDLY ADMISSIONS (12 noon to 7 p.m.):
– Adults $20 (over 12 yrs old)
– Under 13 yrs $12
– Under 6 yrs Free Admission

NIGHT TIME CONCERTS is $30
$30 for all ages.  Nighttime concerts are for adults.

Camping Prices will be available later this year.

Pirates of the Pontchartrain (pirate festival):  During the day a variety of family-friendly pirate shows, games, and merriment.
Only on Saturday Nights after sundown, we will have Saturday Night Concerts, a separate event with separate admission. Pirate Night concerts are more for those old enough to drink. Starting at 8 p.m., pirate bands play on multiple stages; after 9 p.m.: The Chee-Weez play on April 10th, on April 17th the Molly Ringwalds.  Due to COVID, all admissions are date specific, non-transferable, non-refundable (this is a rain or shine event).  The festival is rain or shine. Refunds ONLY if the festival is canceled.

CAMPING: We will offer the same rustic public camping (a tent/RV slip) as we do at the RenFest. IN ADDITION, we have Pirate/Ship Camping for pirate groups that wish to camp together.

All TICKETS are DATE SPECIFIC. We can NOT TRANSFER Admissions.

Our admission system literally has no way to “transfer” admissions, please purchase tickets for the day you want to come.

BATON ROUGE & TEXAS  get onto I-10 East, past Baton Rouge take I-12 East, get off at Exit #42
NEW ORLEANS, and JACKSON MS, take I-55 South, then I-12 East to Exit #42
GULF COAST: MS, ALABAMA, & FLORIDA: I-10 West, In Louisiana, take I-12 West, then Exit #42

Everyone:

1. Once on I-12 take Exit #42 (just east of Hammond, Louisiana)
2. Turn north toward McDonald’s (on Airport Road / Hwy 3158).
3. Go two miles, past McDonald’s (straight through the traffic circle). Road ends at the airport,
4. Take a right onto Hwy 190, go two miles.
5. (There is a turn lane at the school.) Take a left onto River Road (Hwy 1064).
6. Go about two miles, Entrance to festival parking is on the right (There are SIGNS).
