New Year’s Eve- New Orleans Local Style


New Year’s Eve is a spectacular time in the city of New Orleans. But, with so many options, you will have to figure out where you would like to watch the fireworks to ring in 2020. New Orleans is known as one of the best places to enjoy New Years because we know how to party. The French Quarter will have parties at every bar, hotel, nightclub and, of course, even on the famous Bourbon Street.  Don’t worry, there is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade

Did you think that parades are only during Mardi Gras? Not in New Orleans. The Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade features floats, bands, and other participants that will entertain everyone. The parade will begin at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street at 2pm. The parade will travel through French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River. Big Night New Orleans

New Orleans knows how to do BIG, especially when it comes to a big party. Big Night New Orleans takes place at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans on December 31, 2019, from 9pm-1:30am and features Multiple Party Areas, Several Dance Floors, Huge Band Lineup, World-Class DJ lineup, Live Burlesque Show, First Class Cuisine, Silent Disco, Casino Zone, Party Favors and Huge Midnight Celebration. We do not close out a year in New Orleans, we ring in the New Year with Music and Fun. Ring in the year at the BB’s Stage Door Canteen on December 31 from 9 until 1am. Join us as Spencer Racca, Dody Piper, and the Victory Swing Orchestra with a wonderful evening of excitement. There will be complimentary Bellini, champagne toast at midnight with a midnight chocolate buffet. Dance this year away as we enter the next with sounds from the 1940s and a four course seated dinner with complimentary  beer and wine. Riverboat Louis Armstrong’s New Year’s Eve Gala

How about ringing in 2020 on a riverboat? Head over to the  Riverboat Louis Armstrong on December 31st. The dockside events starts at 10 pm.   Local drag icon Coca Mesa will present  “A Starry Night” featuring an all-star cast of drag divas to count down the New Year. Opening act Swingaroux delivers big band sounds, and a DJ spins all your favorite hits to dance the night away. For food expect delicious creole cuisine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $219. NYE 2020 / Pavilion for Tomorrow

Ring 2020 in at the Pavilion  For Tomorrow at 612 Andrew Higgins Boulevard in the Warehouse Districk. Tickets start at $ 200. Of course, there will be a champagne toast with party favors at midnight with a spectacular view of the city’s breathtaking riverfront fireworks display visible from the outdoor rooftop patio.
