Mondo Burlesque celebrates the spectacle and variety of international burlesque with a wide range of performance styles, from classic striptease to neo-burlesque. A hedonic trip around the after-hours world of entertainment.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
The New Orleans Burlesque Festival returns September 23 – 25 to House of Blues New Orleans. Founded in 2009, the international festival showcases performers from all over the world. This year’s festival includes dancers from Australia, Canada, France, Japan, South Africa, Switzerland, and across the USA. A highlight is the Queen of Burlesque competition, in which dancers compete for the title while performing to the accompaniment of a live jazz band. The festival is more than a showcase of classic burlesque acts. The NOBF puts the spotlight on all styles of burlesque performance and body types. This year will be the first year the New Orleans Burlesque Festival will be livestreamed, only on Veeps. This September we celebrate burlesque, a classic form of adult entertainment that made Bourbon Street famous worldwide!
