Tulane Women in Sports Law Symposium

The Women in Sports Law Symposium (WiSLS) is a networking and professional development event in New Orleans that recognizes woman lawyers for their work and achievements within the professional scope of sports law, while also connecting generations of change makers interested or involved in the industry.

There are a fine group of young ladies at Tulane’s Law school who have been working tirelessly to host an event that will have women in the sports industry flocking from all corners of the country to New Orleans. We have worked to secure the participation of premier attorneys in the sports industry individuals like Vicki Neumyer and Swin Cash, and many more. Two days full of conversation, networking, and community building is sure to be a newsworthy event. Led by two awesome women one of which is on the fast track to her mission of becoming a power 5 athletic director and the other a former gold medalist and certain changemaker in the industry. Along with many other high-achieving ladies on the organizing committee we have over 180 registrants and secured donations from all types of local business like Gracious Bakery, Loretta’s pralines, the Good shop and many more. Thanks to our wonderful 2023 sponsors Stone Pigman, Fragomen, and the Tulane Center for Sport, this event is sure to be an enlightening time for women to find a place to commune in the sports industry both this weekend and into the future.
