LUNA Fete 2019

LUNA Fete 2019 is taking place this weekend (December 12-15) at Lafayette Square, Lafayette Street and Fulton Street. There will be a video projection on Gallier Hall that will leave you stunned and amazed. The mesmerizing images combined with music is something you don’t want to miss. The show starts at 6 pm and then will repeat on top of each our at 7, 8, 9 and 10 pm. We have a sneak peek of LUNA Fete 2019 for you in our YouTube video. And that’s not all, visitors will be able to find other amazing light and video installation along Fulton and Lafayette streets. LUNA Fete 2019, just like in previous years, is free and open to the public.

LUNA Fete 2019

LUNA Fete is New Orleans’s festival of light, art and technology. The festival celebrates our cities creative industries. The festival also provides training for projection artists. More than 200 artists from New Orleans were actually able to learn more about how to create large scale interactive art with light, according to festival organizers. This amazing event was created by the Arts Council New Orleans. This is the fifth year the event is taking place. New Orleans has a great tradition of street-based celebration and LUNA Fete 2019 is another great outdoor festival. LUNA Fete 2019 gives visitors the chance to experience new era of contemporary art. Make sure to check out the amazing light show at Gallier Hall and the beautiful light installations down to Fulton Street. LUNA Fete 2019 is full of light and art and it is interactive and very kid-friendly. Hurry you only have through Sunday to be part of this truly amazing experience. LUNA Fete 2019 will be a great success just like it has been in the previous years.
