You Night Battle of the Models

You Night’s Battle of the Models event taking place on Sat. June 18th at the Castine Center in Mandeville – 63350 Pelican Dr, Mandeville, LA 70448.  Guest arrival 5 p.m.; Runway Show 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.; Post party to follow with Crowd Pleasers D.J.

You Night cancer survivor role models will go “heel to heel” on stage against professional models in a runway show competition.   All of the cancer survivor participants have previously received professional runway and modeling training through the You Night cancer survivor empowerment program and will be showing off their skills, confidence and camaraderie.

Judges will rate teams on walking, posing, teamwork, and attitude.  The final “battle” will feature the models wearing outfits provided by J. Ashley Design (located in Mandeville) and Maiya Boutique (located in Metairie). For the past five years, the You Night cancer survivor alumnae beat the professional models, winning the coveted crystal stiletto trophy
