LGBT Halloween New Orleans (HNO)
The story of Halloween New Orleans is a story of the New Orleans gay community – a community coming together to share their love and sense of family, a community celebrating its unique culture and love of showmanship, a community coming to the aid of its own in the dark days of the AIDS crisis, and a community triumphing over challenges with a resilient, joyful spirit.

What You Need To Know
This year’s theme is Hallowdays and we are bringing back three amazing events on Halloween weekend October 25-27, 2019. We are excited to announce The Fillmore as an all new venue for Saturday’s main event.
The main event will feature an open bar and the music of DJ Ben Bakson and International DJ/Producer DJ Grind. Costumes are required. Guests parade their costumes on stage as they arrive for the crowd and judges hosted by Persana Shoulders. Costume awards will be given out on Sunday at the Pier.
There will be a midnight show and dancing until 3am. VIP Lounge for Hosts and Patrons only.
For 35 years, Halloween New Orleans has been raising money for Project Lazarus, an assisted-living home for those with HIV/AIDS in New Orleans. We’re run with an all-volunteer staff and all the money we raise each year goes directly to Lazarus.
