My Fair Lady June 21-24 Book & Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner Music by Frederick Loewe Adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s play “Pygmalion”.  My Fair Lady is the timeless story of a Linguistics Professor, Henry Higgins, who encounters a cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle. Upon hearing her “crooning like a bilious pigeon,” Higgins makes a wager with his friend, Col. Pickering, that he can transform the waifish street urchin into a lady of high society. With an endearing score including “I Could Have Danced All Night”, “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “The Rain In Spain”, My Fair Lady is sure to win the hearts of audience members of all ages.

Summer Lyric Theatre is a musical theatre performing organization based on the campus of Tulane University. Summer Lyric’s mission is to preserve one of America’s greatest art forms by producing the highest quality musical theatre.
