Dance and Music
Our dancers practice throughout the year in preparation for the Festival. On stage, they perform a variety of Greek dances for your entertainment. Enjoy authentic Greek music performed live!. Learn the Zorba and other traditional dances out on the Bayou under the stars!
Holy Trinity Cathedral is the oldest Greek Orthodox church in the Americas, and in 2014 celebrated its 150th anniversary! Be sure to take a free guided tour about our faith, history, and Cathedral artifacts, given by our priest, Father George Wilson. Our Holy Trinity chanter, Dimitri Golfos, will be a part of every tour. In the cathedral, view a curated exhibition of vintage photos, documents and newspaper articles that reflect the history and faith of our community for over 150 years. This year in commemoration of the Tricentennial of New Orleans, a special panel will be dedicated to the history of the first Greeks in New Orleans beginning in 1760s.
