Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in New Orleans officials decided on Friday, July 24, 2020, to enforce new restrictions.
Starting on Saturday, July 25, 2020, bars and restaurants will no longer be allowed to sell or serve take-out and drive-through drinks.
New cases continue to be linked to social gatherings. Our enforcement team has also responded to complaints of large gatherings outside of bars. For these reasons, the sale of takeout & drive-thru alcohol will be prohibited starting at 6am Saturday.
