Peek-A-Boo At The Zoo

Peek-A-Boo at the Zoo returns to Audubon Zoo this Halloween. The event will, like so many others, will look a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The family friendly Halloween experience will take place during the daytime to allow for proper social distancing, according to organizers.

Peek-A-Boo at the Zoo will take place October 17, 18, 24 and 25 during regular Zoo hours, 10am- 5 pm. This daytime Halloween celebration be fun for the whole family and some of your favorite Audubon Zoo animals too, ensuring your experience is filled with spooktacular memories. To add to the excitement, Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo guests are invited to wear their favorite costume as they partake in the festivities.

What To Expect At Peek-A-Boo At The Zoo

This will not be your normal Zoo visit. When coming out for Peek-A-Boo at the Zoo you will find ghosts, bats and witches leading the way. If you dare take your little goblins into the Mystery Maze or visit the Extinct Species Scare Yard. And you won’t be the only one who gets some special treats. We will also provide some of our animals. If you don’t want to bring your own trick or treats, no worries we have some available for you. Order your Boo in a Bag right HERE in advance.

Peek-A-Boo at the Zoo benefits the Audubon Zoo and Children’s Hospital New Orleans. For more information and tickets click HERE. You will have to make your reservation online in advance. Entry times are offered every 30 minutes, with the last entry at 4:00 p.m. There is a limit to the number of tickets sold for each entry time and time slots may sell out. so we encourage you to get your tickets in advance.

Face Masks are strongly encouraged throughout the Zoo and required indoors, such as the gift shop.
