Scare-Free Kid Zone At Scout Island Scream Park

Kid Zone Halloween Fun

Halloween, Scout Island Scream ParkScout Island Scream Park, New Orleans newest Halloween attraction, opens on October 5. The island at City Park has been completely transformed and will offer the right scare for every taste.  If your nerves are not made of steel or you are looking for something to take the little ones, Scout Island Scream Park invites you to to visit the scare-free kid zone. This is a good way to introduce your children to Halloween without scaring them.

What To Expect

The Kid Zone, which opens on October 6, is an area where you can bring younger kids to celebrate Halloween. Here, you will find several child friendly activities including a hay bale maze, a bounce house and a pumpkin patch where you can select your own pumpkin for your Jack-O-Lantern. Face painters will also be on standby to give your child the right Halloween look. You and your child will also get the chance jump on an old fashioned tractor-pulled hay wagon for an adventure through the wooded swamp perimeter for a non-scary hay ride. The area will be ‘scare light’ as Scout Island Scream Park is setting up which means kids may see actors dressed in costumes or hear attractions rehearsals.
