On Sunday, March 19, Mardi Gras Indians from all parts of New Orleans will come together along with the city’s top brass bands and several social aid and pleasure clubs in an incredible show of unity and artistry to be followed by a festival full of live music, food, children’s activities, and more. The INDIAN SUPER SUNDAY parade features Hot 8 Brass Band, Young Pinstripe Brass Band, D.J. Jubilee, Big Al Carson, TBC Brass Band, DJ Captain Charles, Dave Lemon, Young Men Olympians, Lady Buckjumpers, and more. From 2-6 pm starting at the Daquiri Lounge, there will also be a single men annual anniversary parade. The Uptown Super Sunday occurs at sunset and both the Indians from both the Uptown and Downtown tribes will come to the streets usually near Second Street, Dryades and around St. Bernard Avenue to be admired by fans and followers. It is truly a special day in New Orleans!
