The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana’s “Blue Door Blues” Gala

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana is proud to announce its annual fundraiser, “Blue Door Blues.” The gala, scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd, will take place at the Audubon Tea room. The evening will begin with a VIP meet and greet with Pelicans Head Coach Alvin Gentry, whose own childhood Boys & Girls Club was instrumental to him as a youth. The gala, which provides vital funds to the nonprofit, includes a silent auction, signature cocktails and, of course, Blues performed by the Washboard Chaz and the Tin Men. Chevron is the presenting sponsor.

About The  Boys & Girls Clubs

Every child deserves a great future. That’s the belief that Boys & Girls Clubs are built on. Since 1965, Boys & Girls Clubs have provided children and teens with access to life-enriching programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles and good citizenship. With four Clubs in the greater New Orleans area, there are many ways for you to make a difference in the lives of young people in our community.

Please help support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana. Every day the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana works with nearly 1,400 kids in our community to help provide them with a safe haven and the supportive and caring environment they need to successfully navigate the challenges of their lives. Boys & Girls Club programs help young people gain confidence and competence in their academic pursuits while developing their values, character and sense of self. Positive adult role models serve as mentors to guide them and help them build the skills they need to reach their goals.
