West Bank Beer Fest
Westbank Beer Fest is the newest addition to the Louisiana festival calendar. The 2018 festival is scheduled for July 7th and will be located at NOLA Motorsports Park in the air-conditioned Event Center. The festival will feature shuttles to Clearview, Gretna, Mandeville and Harrahs downtown.
This year the event will be family friendly with kid’s activities including karting, inflatable waterslides, crafts and coloring stations, pretzel necklace station, VR Lounge by Maverick VR, XBOX Free Play by the Microsoft Store and more.
21 and up attendees can enjoy unlimited beer tastings from 30 different local, regional and national breweries.
Among the breweries that have participated in the past that will be returning this year are Abita, Tin Roof, Urban South, Bayou Teche, Great Raft, Gnarley Barley, Sweetwater, Ballast Point and others. A few of the first year participants are Dixie, Crying Eagle and Golden Road.
Beer will be poured at each tasting station by the 610 Stompers – who is the event’s non-profit partner.
