What To Wear For The Red Dress Run
The Red Dress Run 2018 on Saturday August 11 will transform the French Quarter into a sea of red. Men and women alike will don their red dresses to support local charities and to have fun. And every year men and women alike wonder what they should wear on the that special day, since nobody wants to get caught wearing the same red dress two years in a row.
Before you head out keep in mind it is August in New Orleans which means it will be hot. Choose a dress that allows for some air flow. If the dress is really tied it might also be difficult for you to run in it. If you choose a dress that is too long, you could trip. And for men, don’t spend too much money since you most likely will never wear that dress again.
Every shade of red will work, but we recommend a bright red dress. Have fun and stay hydrated!
