Join M.S. Rau for the opening party of our latest exhibition where we present a curated collection of over 160 original paintings by Erté, the “Father of Art Deco,” along with objets d’art, jewelry and furniture of the period.
Often called the “Father of Art Deco,” Erté was a tastemaker whose designs for the stage, runway and red carpet shaped an entire movement of like-minded artists. This exhibition features his original gouaches, along with period jewelry from Cartier and Raymond Yard, glass from René Lalique, clocks from Tiffany & Co. and more.
The party will be held at M.S. Rau on Friday, October 13th from 5:30 – 8:00pm.
