Annual fundraiser supports groundbreaking research in New Orleans
Funds raised at the New Orleans Heart Ball will help the American Heart Association to continue the fight against cardiovascular diseases and defects – the #1 killer in the state of Louisiana and in the country. Heart disease is the #1 killer of both men and women in our country and heart defects are the #1 killer of children. Louisiana continues to be one of the least healthy states in the nation. These funds are then invested back into the New Orleans community through educational outreach programs, CPR training and certification, educational programs, placement of automated external defibrillators, and funding for groundbreaking medical research.
Cocktails and a silent auction begin at 6 pm, followed by an elegant seated dinner at 8 pm with a live auction, and will conclude with a live band and dancing. All proceeds go to the Greater New Orleans American Heart Association, and tickets can be purchased at NewOrleansHeartBall.heart.org
