Held at the historic Fair Grounds Race Course, Jazz Fest features over 5,000 musicians across 14 stages performing virtually every style of music plus mouth-watering food, a prestigious juried crafts fair and much more. Started in 1970, the Festival now annually draws almost 500,000 people to celebrate the unique culture and heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc., is the nonprofit organization that owns the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell.
