TWILIGHT: OUTDOOR MUSIC SERIES AT LONGUE VUE HOUSE AND GARDENS

Longue Vue House and Gardens is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved outdoor music series, Twilight at Longue Vue, for the 2024 season. Taking place every Wednesday from March 13 to May 1, Twilight promises a memorable evening of live music set against the stunning backdrop of Longue Vue’s Spanish Court.
Kicking off the series on March 13 is the electrifying Kinfolk Brass Band, a renowned brass ensemble hailing from our very own New Orleans. Led by brothers Percy and Richard Anderson, the Kinfolk Brass Band has captivated audiences worldwide with its energetic performances, spanning from intimate clubs to grand ballrooms.
Throughout the season, guests can expect a diverse lineup of musical talent, including performances by Cast Iron Cactus, Father Ron & Friends, Or Shovaly Plus, Carmela Rappazzo, Indigo Strings Music, John Rankin, and culminating with the mesmerizing sounds of Glo Work Trio. Hailing from Italy, the Glo Work Trio specializes in Ballo Liscio music, offering a repertoire of mazurkas waltzes, polkas, ragtime, and original compositions.
“We are thrilled to welcome music lovers back to Longue Vue for another season of Twilight,” says Baty Landis, executive director of Longue Vue House and Gardens. “What sets Twilight apart from other outdoor music events in the city is our serene setting, an oasis away from the hustle and bustle.” Attendees can enjoy ample parking, stroll through our lush gardens while still being able to hear the music, and let their kids run freely in a safe environment. It’s a truly relaxing experience, featuring the best New Orleans has to offer in both music and nature.
Bring friends, family, and picnic blankets to relax and treat yourself to the magic of live music! For those looking to indulge, Longue Vue’s Edith and Edgar’s Garden Cafe will be offering a selection of delicious drinks and snacks for purchase.
