Red Bull Terminal Takeover After Hours

Red Bull Terminal Takeover is back for a third straight year at the old New Orleans airport. The abandoned terminal will once again be transformed into the ultimate destination for park and street skateboarding April 14-15, but this year the weekend of skating will culminate in the first-ever “Red Bull Terminal Takeover: After Hours” concert hosted by New Orleans native, Curren$y.

The concert, which caps two days of skating and filming by crews invited from all over the country, will showcase local artists and celebrate all the ways in which hip hop and skate culture connect – from art, to fashion, to music. Curren$y, a New Orleans icon and founder of Fly Society, has always embraced skate culture into his style and music will host the event at Republic NOLA.

The night’s lineup hosted by Curren$y, will include Louisiana artists FreshxReckless, Pell, Kings of Brass, Fendi P, 504 Icy Girl as well as budding rapper and top college basketball prospect, Flau’jae Johnson out of LSU. Elements on the stage’s backdrop will also include a nod to skate-inspired artwork and lifestyle designed by local artists.
