Join A Clean-Up Krewe For A Day of Service
Did you know that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is the only federal holiday observed as a national day of service? In 1994, Congress designated the holiday as a national day of service that takes place each third Monday in January.
The Friends of City Park and other community organizations honor Dr. King’s Legacy through service projects while addressing pressing community needs. City Park is a treasure for the entire community, but it must be maintained.
The responsibility of sustaining our Park’s health belongs to each and every one of us. ~ Stephanie Bell, Friends of City Park
