You have through December 30th to head over to Lafreniere Park to take a look at the sparkling lights at Christmas In The Park. Millions of twinkling holiday lights have transformed Lafreniere Park into a sparkling wonderland.

Did You Know About Snow Day?
The park brings back the annual Snow Day on December 14th. Beginning at 9:30am one hundred thousand pounds of artificial snow will be dumped between the Carousel and shelters 7 and 8. This event will be free for children under 10 and is open to everybody. Just remember to hurry because it is uncertain how long the snow will last.
What You Need To Know
All cars coming to the park have to enter from West Napoleon Avenue and exit at Downs Boulevard. There are even walking tours available. Admission is five dollars per car. If you want to come by park hours are Sunday trough Thursday 5:30 pm till 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm till 10:30 pm.
About The Christmas In The Park Display
The festive display features over one million LED lights. This year you will be able to see elaborate decorations and festive light displays. New attractions this year include a Hot Wheels display, a Hello Kitty figure and new animal hanging ornaments. Old favorites, as you may remember, include the lighted 60-foot Sea Serpent in the lagoon, a gingerbread man and many other displays
