On September 25, 2021 from 10:30am until 11:30am the National World War II museum is hosting a Kids & Families Virtual Innovation Studio: The Science of Art. The first 50 families to sign up will receive a FREE Innovation Studio kit, with all of the necessary supplies to follow along with 3 hands-on science and engineering activities at home.
In this edition of Virtual Family Innovation Studio, we will explore the Science of Art. Learn how to make your own paint from scratch, create a Zoetrope, and learn about Chromatography. The first 50 families to sign up will receive a FREE Innovation Studio kit, with all of the necessary supplies to follow along with 3 hands-on science and engineering activities at home! ONE KIT PER FAMILY. Please only register for one kit per family, NOT per child. ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED. These activities involve the use of tools and materials that require adult supervision and proper safety precautions. Science and engineering are fun and interesting subjects that help us build our confidence through learning how to do hard things and by staying safe at the same time.
