World-Renowned Guitarist, Singer& Songwriter ANA POPOVIC has built her career on defining and describing, on her own terms, the essence of American music, simultaneously pushing limits, bending genres, and reinventing her music and herself with each new record. Not surprisingly, she can claim any number of notable accolades and achievements from the highest quarters of the music industry. She’s shown her commitment to celebrating her guitar-driven, eclectic music style through consistent touring, awards, and recognition for the past 25 years. In the process, she’s emerged as one of the most thoughtful, dynamic, and dedicated performers. That dedication has resulted in 13 acclaimed albums, two DVDs and six nationwide Experience Hendrix tours.
Ana Popovic’s latest acclaimed album, ‘Power’ (2023), hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and she has garnered two 2024 Blues Music Award Nominations for “Blues Rock Artist of the Year” and “Blues Rock Album of the Year”. Ana was also Nominated for “Blues Rock Artist of the Year” in 2021 & 2022, and she has 3 Nominations for “Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year” (2012, 2014 & 2017).
Ana’s called “one helluva a guitar-player” by Bruce Springsteen and nearly all of Popovic’s albums reached the top of the Billboard Blues Charts. She and her band tour tirelessly and are known for their exceptional live performances, sharing stages with BB King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and many others.
Popovic released a triple album titled ‘Trilogy’ in 2016 which hit #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart. The album includes multiple guests, including Joe Bonamassa, Robert Randolph, Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Bernard Purdie, among others.
Popovic released her next studio album, ‘Like It on Top’ in 2018 and this album also hit #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart. The album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by Keb’ Mo’ and features guest appearances by Keb’ Mo’, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Robben Ford.
In May 2023, Popovic released her most recent studio album ‘Power’ which hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart.
