Annual Block Party Prepares Thousands of Parade-Goers for the Super Krewe BACCHUS
(New Orleans, La.) – Organizers of Bacchus Bash 2024, the festive, day-long party that precedes the renowned Bacchus parade, today announced the entertainment for this year’s Mardi Gras extravaganza. The annual block party kicks off at noon on Sunday, February 11th from Generations Hall/ The Metropolitan at 310 Andrew Higgins.
Bacchus Bash 2024 includes a host of live music performances which includes Mannie Fresh, Bag of Donuts, The TopCats, Neutral Snap and Category 6. The popular Mardi Gras tradition that takes place the Sunday before Fat Tuesday is an indoor/outdoor party showcasing several stages, some of the city’s best local bands and great drink specials. This year’s Bacchus Bash also features DJ Mannie Fresh, DJ Wixx and DJ TAF.
The outdoor/indoor block party is free and open to the public, but VIP tickets are available which include access to the outdoor grandstand, private bathrooms inside and an open bar. Anyone interested in purchasing VIP tickets should visit our website
Bacchus Bash was started in the 1980s, and the day-long celebration always precedes the renowned Bacchus parade and offers patrons the option to watch the super krewe of Bacchus in VIP fashion.
