Cure by Design Gala
The American Cancer Society’s Cure by Design Gala presented by Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center, is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Mardi Gras World. This remarkable event promises an evening of enjoyment infused with purpose! The gala will proudly recognize our Heart and Soul Award recipient and showcase a tribute to our twenty esteemed Cure Champion Honorees.
Attendees will enjoy signature dishes and cocktails crafted by the city’s most renowned establishments. The night will also feature live entertainment from show-stopping party band, Blue Rhythm. Proceeds support the Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge on River Road in New Orleans, a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers while receiving treatment. Funds raised will also be used to deliver life-saving local patient programs and services such as free lodging, transportation, advocacy and Louisiana-based cancer research aimed to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
