‘We’re So Dead’ Film Premiere: Service Industry Horror-Comedy Coming to the Broad Theater Oct. 12th & Oct. 13th

A unique story that blends film, food service culture, and philanthropy is coming to New Orleans. On Sunday, Oct. 12th and Monday, Oct. 13th, at 7:30 p.m., the Atlanta-based horror-comedy ‘We’re So Dead’ made by and for restaurant workers, is coming to the Broad Theater in NOLA.
The film was created by career restaurant workers and crowdfunded largely by the service industry community. It mixes slapstick comedy with horror to capture the chaos, humor, and unspoken camaraderie of restaurant life.
With every ticket sold, $2.13 from each ticket—symbolizing the tipped minimum wage—goes to the Giving Kitchen, the Atlanta-based nonprofit that supports food service workers in crisis.
