A Perfect Strike: “Fore the Families Par•tee” Raises Critical Funds for Ill Children

Event Date: October 1, 2025 |
New Orleans’ Rock ‘N’ Bowl transformed into a philanthropic hub on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHCSLA) hosted their third annual Fore the Families Par•tee. The event successfully merged the city’s lively culture with a critical humanitarian mission, raising funds to support families of seriously ill children.
The evening, which ran from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., drew a crowd ready to “Rock ‘N’ Roll the night away for a good cause.” The benefit, presented by EMR Metal Recycling, featured local fare, premium drinks, and live entertainment from the band BRW. Attendees also had the opportunity to bowl and participate in a luxury silent auction that boasted unique, high-value items, including a football signed by the Manning family—Archie, Peyton, and Eli—and exclusive golf experiences.
All proceeds from the Rock ‘N’ Par•tee directly benefited RMHCSLA, enabling the organization to provide essential lodging and support to families at no cost while their children received vital medical care. This support included the Ronald McDonald House on the campus of the Manning Family Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Lafayette.
RMHCSLA CEO Grace McIntosh emphasized the significance of the event, pointing out the charity’s profound impact: the organization provided thousands of nights of housing and meals to families from across Louisiana, the Gulf South, and beyond. The successful fundraiser underscored the New Orleans community’s steadfast commitment to easing the emotional and financial burdens faced by families during their most challenging times. The “Rocktober” series concluded the following day with the Fore the Families Annual Golf Classic.
