Mardi Gras 2022 is HERE. This year will be different, but that does not mean we cannot celebrate together. We have always enjoyed the parades, beads, balls, coconuts, shoes, and so much more but this year we can still enjoy Mardi Gras traditions, but on a less grand scale. Whether you are a tourist or a New Orleans Local, there truly is something special about Carnival Season. So get your purple, green and gold and let’s get ready.

Mardi Gras Day is March 1, 2022, which is commonly called Fat Tuesday and is the last day of the Mardi Gras 2022 Carnival Season. Fat Tuesday always falls the day before Ash Wednesday which is the first day of Lent. However, some of the most popular parades happen before Fat Tuesday such as Endymion, Muses, Zulu, Orpheus and so many more are local favorites. Let’s not forget about Lundi Gras which is the day before Mardi Gras.
